Community Involvement against Family & Domestic Violence Starick Services evolved from the hard work and commitment of strong women with a vision to build a refuge in their local community that would shelter women and children experiencing family and domestic violence. Starick Services has a long history (within the Western Australian community, providing crisis accommodation support, advocacy and therapy services to children, young people and women experiencing family and domestic violence. Since our beginning the organisation has grown and continues to grow in new service areas that benefit members of our community who experience family and domestic violence. The success of this organisation is a direct result of the many volunteers, families and staff who over the years have worked hard to raise funds and shape the culture of the organisation. Since its early humble beginnings, Starick Services has been recognised as one of Western Australia's leading service providers within the family and domestic violence field.
